So Much for Goodbyes is the fifth studio album from three-time Grammy-winning bluegrass musician Billy Strings, officially released on August 28, 2026. Co-produced alongside the legendary T Bone Burnett, this 16-track double LP is a deeply emotional project written in the wake of immense grief following the unexpected passing of his mother, Debra Apostol. To honor her memory, the vinyl's jacket features her original artwork, and the tracklist concludes with a dedicated instrumental piece titled "Debra's Waltz".
The album showcases a mature blend of bluegrass, folk, and raw storytelling, anchored by standout lead tracks like "Burn The Other End" and "Mill Town Flood".
