The Smiths' seminal compilation album, Louder Than Bombs (2LP UK Version), is a definitive 24-track release collecting the band's essential non-album singles, B-sides, and BBC recordings. Initially conceived for the North American market in 1987, its massive popularity led to a UK domestic vinyl release by Rough Trade (catalogue number ROUGH255) in 1988.
