Alpha Wave Music is a 2026 limited-edition compilation LP by Japanese ambient pioneer Shiho Yabuki (often spelled phonetically as Shino). Released via the Subliminal Sounds record label, this album marks the first-time vinyl reissue of her incredibly rare, healing new age and electronic ambient music originally recorded in Japan between 1989 and 1990.
The tracks utilize "1/f fluctuation" (pink noise) and alpha wave synthesizer textures meant to induce deep physical and mental relaxation.
