Chrome is the heavy, dark, and tightly-wound 2026 studio album by prolific indie rocker Ty Segall, released on August 28, 2026, through the Drag City record label.
Following his more relaxed 2025 power-pop record Possession, Segall reunited his full backing band—Ben Boye, Evan Burrows, Mikal Cronin, and Emmett Kelly—to record Chrome live in a room together at Sonic Ranch in Texas. Co-produced alongside Cooper Crain, the record delivers a fierce, twin-guitar assault drenched in fuzz distortion and dense keyboard textures, marking it as one of Segall's heaviest and most collaborative projects to date.
