A Man from the Future, the 16th studio album by the English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, is set to be officially released on October 9, 2026. Co-produced with Sven Helbig and released via Parlophone Records, this project is an audio-musical biography celebrating the life, legacy, and tragic death of pioneering computer scientist and Enigma codebreaker Alan Turing.
The piece originally premiered at the BBC Proms in 2014, but it has been completely revised and re-recorded with a heavier electronic focus alongside orchestration by the Manchester Camerata Octet and spoken-word narration by actress Juliet Stevenson.
