This Is Happening is the critically acclaimed third studio album by LCD Soundsystem, masterminded by frontman James Murphy and released in 2010. Musically inspired by David Bowie's late-1970s era, the album's artwork pays a direct visual homage to Bowie's 1979 classic album Lodger. The record effortlessly blends introspective lyrics with massive electro-pop and indie-disco dancefloor anthems. [
