The critically acclaimed album Promises—a masterwork collaboration between British electronic producer Floating Points, legendary jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, and the London Symphony Orchestra—is available on vinyl across several pressing variations.
Released via the Luaka Bop record label, the album consists of a single, continuous 46-minute piece divided into nine movements. It serves as a beautiful blend of minimal electronic ambient textures, soaring classical strings, and spiritual jazz improvisations. Notably, it stands as the final album recorded by Pharoah Sanders before his passing.
