Moving in Stereo: The Best of The Cars is a comprehensive 18-track compilation CD curated by the surviving members of the band. Released in May 2016 via Rhino Records, the project features audio digitally remastered by frontman Ric Ocasek alongside mastering engineer Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound. The tracklist highlights their massive 1980s synth-pop and new wave radio staples while intentionally introducing unique, deep cuts and alternate mixes.
