Magic Boy: The Jimi Hendrix Experience Live at Berkeley (First Show) is a 2LP vinyl archival live release scheduled for launch on October 16, 2026. Issued by Experience Hendrix, L.L.C. and Legacy Recordings, this double-album set marks the very first time Jimi Hendrix's complete opening set from the Berkeley Community Theatre on May 30, 1970, has been assembled and presented in its original concert running order.
The release features audio freshly remixed from the original multi-track tapes by Hendrix's longtime engineer, Eddie Kramer. This historic concert captures a unique hybrid lineup of the Experience, featuring original drummer Mitch Mitchell alongside bassist Billy Cox.
