The deluxe remastered reissue of Dave Alvin's 1998 Americana masterpiece, Blackjack David, is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026. Originally a critical favorite that highlighted Alvin's transition from electric guitar rock to raw, acoustic storytelling, this edition is being brought back by Craft Recordings and HighTone Records as a 2-LP double vinyl set.
